Founded through the international journey and academic background of Pierre CHATEAU, the agency was shaped by experiences across Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the United States, Romania, and France. These experiences highlighted the essential role language, communication, and documentation play in accessing education, immigration opportunities, legal processes, and institutional services

With a background in Modern Languages and advanced studies in Media, Development and Society from the University of Bucharest, as well as Communication, Humanitarian Aid and Solidarity from Université Lumière Lyon 2, the foundation of Transla8te was built on a strong understanding of multilingual communication, cultural context, and professional documentation standards.

Transla8te was first established in Haiti in response to the growing need for reliable and professionally prepared translation services within Haitian and immigrant communities.
